Hillel Canada
Hillel Canada (formerly National Jewish Campus Life -NJCL) is a department of UIA Federations Canada and serves as the umbrella organization for organized Jewish Campus Life on campuses across Canada. In partnership with University Outreach Committee (UOC), local Hillels and other campus communities, Hillel Canada offers students a chance to enhance their experiences on campus.
The Canadian Council for Israel and Jewish Advocacy (CIJA)
The Canadian Council for Israel and Jewish Advocacy (CIJA) is a non-partisan umbrella organization for Jewish community advocacy efforts; directing strategies to improve the quality of Jewish life in Canada and increase support for Israel, as well as to strengthen Canada-Israel relations. As the advocacy agent for United Israel Appeals Federation Canada, CIJA oversees and coordinates the advocacy work of Canadian Jewish Congress (CJC), Canada-Israel Committee (CIC), Quebec-Israel Committee (QIC), Hillel Canada, and University Outreach Committee (UOC). www.studentsforisrael.ca
University Outreach Committee (UOC)
The newest member of CIJA’s family of Agencies, University Outreach Committee (UOC) was founded to advance outreach to University administrations, faculty, donors, and others outside the student realm. Working closely with NJCL, UOC goals include ensuring respect for academic freedom and the free exchange of ideas at our universities and colleges, as well as facilitating academic exchanges and cooperative research between institutions in Canada and Israel.
One example of UOC advocacy is the campaign Size Doesn’t Matter, a unique approach at showing the world the other side of Israel through the use of social media and a clever marketing campaign.

The Canadian Federation of Jewish Students (CFJS) is committed to enriching the Canadian Jewish student community by fostering Jewish identity, developing leadership, and facilitating communication amongst Canadian Jewish students at the National Level.

Masa
Masa, Hebrew for journey, is an organization which aims to send Jewish students on long term programs to Israel. Based on research findings in the field, Masa recognizes that participation in long term programs in Israel is the most effective tool for shaping the next generation of Jewish leadership in Jewish communities, and for cultivating Jewish awareness and a strong sense of a shared destiny with the State of Israel. Through Masa one will fine diverse opportunities for a long term Israel Experience as well as financial assistance packages. masaisrael.org
Hillel: The Foundation for Jewish Campus Life
Hillel: The Foundation for Jewish Campus Life, otherwise referred to as Hillel International, serves as the international umbrella organization for organized Jewish Life on Campus and provides opportunities for Jewish students at over 500 universities and colleges worldwide.
